Ipod touch or nexus 7 ?

We have two iPod touches and they have had very!! heavy use. They are extremely well built, durable, sturdy, and work on the Apple system. I do not own but played with my adult daughter's Nex 7 last weekend. I really liked it immediately. Big screen with very high quality. I think I am going to buy one just to have one. But when I picked it up I was struck by how fragile it felt in my hand compared to the iPod touch or an iPad. In addition the buttons seemed flimsy compared to the Apple products. I think I may buy one but in my opinion the Nex 7 is not something that will be nearly as durable as the Apple product. Then again it is half the price of the iPad mini which is what it is really competing with.
