Hello my name is Laif Hanson and I am a Regional Director for Camping World. I want to apologize for the experience that you had in our Valencia location. My managers at the location have been made aware of the situation and will make it a topic of our next sales meeting. There have been a lot of responses to this posting and many opinions of whether or not you were handled right or wrong. The one thing I would ask in the future for anyone that is reading or sharing this conversation is, if you have a problem in one of our locations and it is not resolved satisfactorily at the time, ask to speak to a manager. We strive as a company to provide great customer service and ask any of our associates to keep this in mind and gauge a customers response anytime they have to deliver a "NO". Not being their for the conversation and reading it the way you wrote it, as a store manager I would have wanted to know about the situation as maybe I could have offered you some alternatives.
Unfortunately we lost this sale and believe me when I say we care! We realize our customers have a lot of choices out there today to spend their hard earned money. As well as we spend a lot of dollars in advertising to get you to come in to spend it. But no matter how much we spend the best investment will always be good customer service and empathy for our customers.
