Keyboard -- won't light up

Question

I recently upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro on my laptop ... everything seems to work fine except the back-lit keyboard will not light up. Upon launching, the board lights briefly, then goes dark except the power button. The keyboard is red-lights, so very difficult to see now unless in bright light.

I tried searching the ASUS site, but am a bit techni-capped, and can't find any fixes.

Most likely there is a firmware update to work in Windows 10. That laptop isn't all that old why not call Asus?

There's probably a button to turn backlight on/off. Also could be your power settings.
