Killer rain 1, Satellite 0

Last night I completely lost the Satellite signal for a few hours due to the unusually heavy rain. It was back on and OK today. This is the only time this has happened.

I have my receiver while at home in the garage, along with a roof dish. I port the receiver to my RV when on the road.

I guess those few microwatts couldn't penetrate the precipitation (or the rain either).
