Sorry, I missed the part about being NEW receivers. If these have never been activated I recommend that you find a regular home style Dish antenna and get them activated before attempting to use them with a dome. Once that's done you can follow my Check Switch instructions. If you want to try it with the dome you will need to go through this separately on each receiver.
Section 1
When you get on a new 211K and it attempts to start a setup routine you will see the receiver start a setup routine showing Step 1 of 5, you do not want to do what is prompted but quickly:
Press System info on the front of the receiver.
Using the Dish remote control, select Help when it appears on the TV.
Select Menu 611 with remote.
Do a front face reset on the receiver (press and hold power)
Wait for anything to appear on the TV and press menu 611 with remote and continue with a normal Check Switch setup routine as described in the owners manual.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Section 2
If you were not paying attention and it has already gotten to Step 2 of 5 you can still recover with a bit more work.
(If you did the *#*# routine, do a front face reset and step 2 of 5 will reappear.)
You will need to wait for Step 2 of 5 to fail (time out) and a message will appear that says something to the effect that you need to check connections.
Press the system Info button, wait for the Help button to appear and click on that. The next screen will give you a Restart Setup option and you want to select Yes. By doing so you will return to step 1 of 5 and you will be able to follow the instructions listed above in Section 1.
