Assuming the receiver is capable of viewing some satellite TV on some channels, you should be able to go to MENU>6>1>1 and find a screen that shows the satellite selected, the transponder selected and one or 2 other columns. In the upper right you should see a button that says Check Switch. Are you saying you cannot get to this screen?
