King One Pro satellite dish
Just looked at King One Pro Dish at Gander. Anyone using it please respond as to how well y'all like it & how positive or negative it is in action. Thanks

Like all domes, this one is also not able to receive ANY DirecTV HD programming and is compatible with only a few of the DTV receivers. It will not work with the Genie. It will also not work with the DISH Hopper receivers.
While it can switch between the 3 DISH satellites, it can only point to 1 at a time so DVR's or more than 1 receiver will be problematic.
It does do automatic setup between DISH, DTV or Canadian Bell service when you plug in a receiver so no dip switches to set. The clear dome, to me, is questionable as to whether it's an advantage or not. Yes, you can see where the antenna is pointed (maybe helpful, maybe not) but it will also allow things to get quite hot inside which may or may not have an effect on the electronics.
