The most reliable will the 110 AC powered TV's from companies like Sony and Toshiba. Worst are the DC powered ones that are rebranded to Skyworth, Polaroid, and other off brands. The newer ones have WiFi built into them so you can stream video to them from a router and it is unbelievably easy to do this.
