I did indeed get it installed. It's very light so all I did was center the tv and bolt it through the thin rotating wall. I used large washers on the back of the wood. I just did a 3,500 mile trip and it was solid as ever with no evidence of issues.
And I ended up going with a small 160 watt inverter, it powers the tv well and doesn't seem to draw hard on the house batteries. The only issue is if I'm using it to watch tv and I turn on the furnace, AC or other high draw item - the tv turns off. I can turn it back on right after that so it doesn't really worry me.
