Depending on your Video switch system
If you have the wall switch.. IT depends on how badly you screwed up the factory wiring. Thus I have to be "Eyes on" to advise
If you have (As I do) a box of many buttons (BOMB) you simply run the VCR or any other OUTPUT lead (LIke TV-3) to the OTA-Antenna jack on the sat receiver and push the ANT button for that switch output.
OR push the ANT button for the tv.
Or better yet.
Get an A/B switch (Basic slider switch) or two (one per LNB input to receiver(s))
Hook the wire from the king dome to the "A" input on the switch
Hook a wire from a bulkhead (Through wall) or basement ground block to the "B" connector (NOTE: Use RG-6) and a short RG-6 Jumper from the remaining (Switched) connection to the Receiver.
Carry a tripod and ground mount dish. Set it up beyond the evil signal eating tree.
