I run Windows 10. We use a Verizon wireless "JetPac" connection. Yesterday, I wanted to print a letter and discovered that my Wifi connection was gone. Under Internet Properties: Connections, I can see "Verizon Wireless-VZAccess" It appears to be a dial-up???
I tried to use "Manually set up a new wireless connection", and got an "Unexpected error occured" message. Thank you in advance for any help or advice!!
Since it looks like more than one person on this thread is having the same issue, I suspect yet another UNTESTED MS forced updates has bit YOU in the behind.
You are most likely going to NEED to find a WIRED connection then see if MS has issued a "fix" update.. The last time MS borked the wireless connections the only way to fix was direct wired or time to do a full reinstall.
If your PC doesn't have a wired Ethernet NIC card you can buy USB to Ethernet cards to get around that.
Before going through a full reinstall I would suggest checking the WiFI security properties first.. Fair chance that if it was a update it may have altered your security settings..
