Yes, technically there are 6 but the current setup for Dish EA only requires reception on 2 of the 3.
Agreed in most situations, but a few times we've been on heavily treed sites where our 3-LNB EA setup could only "see" the 72.7 and 77 birds at the same time. Since the locals in those areas were on 61.5 in HD and also on 77 in SD, we could still get them, albeit at the lower resolution. There's also a dozen markets where the locals on 77 are CONUS beamed, making the ability to receive it even handy where the 61.5 only locals are unreachable for receiving the big 4 networks and other subs. I can just select a service address in one of those markets.
I would like to have the Sat. system working since it is built onto the RV already and the wire is there. What makes me hesitate is reading all that stuff I quoted here. It is all Greek to me and I wonder if I have the tech smarts to make it work.
