Maps Alternative
A am very disappointing with Maps on 8.1 and am looking for an alternative. All I need is plain old Navigation without any social media add-ons. Any thoughts on a better navigation app?

I have had issues with all of the GPS mapping software and devices. They all have their quirks.
Try Google maps from the app store. As Roy indicated hard to beat the Google mapping programs especially on a laptop or larger screen device.
On the flip side, I've used Apple Maps quite a lot lately and find it works fine for me.
