Back to the subject at hand: I went there this morning, line is long but not so bad. Tried the app, and it just sat there showing me jumping french fries. It didn't even recognize where I was when connected to the store's wifi. That's happened before. The Starbucks app has never done that.
So I went to Mt Quail restaurant for a decent meal.
I don't put their apps on my phone. They don't just order you a meal, but also drain down your battery, scoop up your contacts and private information, track you etc. etc. I think you get the idea. The Starbucks app actually generates 34 pages of fine print on what they do with your information. This was on the national news. But hey, I'm a privacy freak and don't do FB,Instagram, or any of them, but to each his own.
