Microsofts guaranteed new virus blocker

There were no new updates since earlier this month. Check your past update list to see what failed to redo them. I have not seen any problem since a "Silverlight" update early after Windows7 introduction. That one was straightened out eventually.

For some computers it is better to not take automatic updating since problems can occur if using computer at the same time, or accidently shutting down during updating.

I prefer to use "notify me", but I normally check for updates manually each day.
