For the 20GB from Verizon we would have paid $140 a month. Lots of problems with Verizonwireless overcharging and customers with bills of several hundred dollars that showed up unexpectedly. We sold the Novatel Mifi we got for "free" from Verizon for $140 on eBay so that offset a good portion of the $175.
We looked at it from an annual perspective and we save more than $360 a year with Millenicom and leaving Verizon cost us $35. With all the billing problems we did not want to take a chance of it hitting us as we need the data service as out here in Monterey we cannot get broadband or even DSL so 4G is the only option other than 49k dialup and we already pay $70 a month for our singel AT&T landline - aren't monopolies wonderful?
