I did not use mine last year and ended up paying all that money for nothing..

That's several generations old, but it's basic 4G so it should be compatible with most systems UNLESS they use a newer band that the older 6620 doesn't support. I believe the only 4G bands that the Verizon 6620L supports is 13 and 4.
