- FlatBrokeExplorer IIWhat will Verizon do to others like Tracfone. Just when I get a service that is good with reasonable prices they will probably do the same deal.
- LearjetExplorerI hope I find out the details soon, might just do the 15g doubled to 30g on my ATT Iphones and go that route. It would be cheaper that way.
- TomG2ExplorerIt was just a matter of time. Never did make sense that a company A would allow company B to sell A's product for less than they would sell if for.

Well the haters out there will be happy . All Millenicom tried to do was provide a good service at a reasonable price . They eventually just got squeezed out . Plain and simple.
Thank You Millenicom for 6 great years of Service !
I just wonder if this happened because Millenicom was not paying the bill. I saw the same thing happen with a Hughes VAR and can see no other reason why Millenicom would forfeit their entire business. I have no knowledge of the actual deal so I am just speculating here but the whole thing set off my smell-o-meter. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIWow, that sucks. A T-1 (1.5MB up and down) for $252/month when I get 10 times that service from Verizon for less (but limited). The country IS great so I get that but if cellular was also available it would still be a much better option unless you actually NEED that unlimited data.

For us it means the end of our 4G service as we will not continue on with Verizon who we used for a couple years before switching to Millenicom. With Verizon we would be paying 55% more for half the data.
We are in the final stages of installing a T-1 line to your house where for $252 a month we will have unlimited service at double DSL speeds, which is the best we can do with the local telco monopolies that the feds have allowed to grow as they buy up their competitors. T-1 was my only option in the 1970's and now in 2014 it is still the best option where I live (60 miles from Silicon Valley by the way).
Great living in a country with the worst telecommunications, worst transportation system, worst education system, worst healthcare system, but the best military in the world (and also the most costly) - for what it's worth.
