Is this from personal experience, or did your brother's friend's cousin's nephew tell you this? While I haven't yet hit the wall, everything I've seen, from Millenicom and others, is that an occasional overage is pretty much ignored, but of you make a habit of constantly exceeding the limit then they "encourage" you to buy a second plan. Their own FAQ states:
What if I have usage concerns?
Millenicom does not charge overage fees nor do we throttle accounts. In the event a client consistently or egregiously goes over the usage threshold they will need to purchase an additional plan.
