While I have never found the program to be accurate, you should be able to use it as a guide. You need to go into the settings and eliminate the LAN traffic and other options and have it monitor the router traffic (or WAN or something) only to get anything close to an accurate number.

That doesn't work on my Millenicom MiFi. Your router must be SNMP-enabled for the "monitor the router" option to work.
