Mouse quits?
Each time I shut down the laptop, and start it -- the wireless mouse quits working. I remove the mouse "whatchamacallit" from the USB port, plug it back in, and mouse works again. Any hints why ...

Nick and 1775 -- I didn't mean "turn off every time", turn off when it won't be in use for awhile, like a few days.
Installed new battery - still acts same way. In fact, if I remove mouse unit from USB, and put back in same USB, it won't work. If I remove mouse unit and stick it in a different USB port, it works. Then, next time it does it again, and I remove unit, put in the first port again, it works. So, I have to alternate USB ports each time. Weird!
