I used to do this in my home theater and when weather permitted, in the back yard.
I would set up two Navy surplus 16 mm. B&H projectors with 1,000 Watt projection lamps and use the side of the barn as a screen.
In the indoor theater, I used the same projectors with 200 Watt lamps.
