MS streets and trips download vs dvd
If I buy the dvd version instead of downloading online will that save RAM and hard drive space?...in other words, will it run off the dvd or do I still have to down load to computer from the dvd??...t...

I've not used MS Streets and Trips, but Delorme Street Atlas, also a mapping program, will not load some of the maps if you don't want it to, thereby saving space but making the operation of the program much slower as it has to access the drive all the time.
I imagine MS Streets and Trips is similar. If you have the room, and I can't imagine that you wouldn't have a couple gig to spare, load the whole thing. It makes using the program a lot faster. That's what I would do anyway.
