I've had several Garmins, interrupted by a Magellan. To be fair the Magellan was several years ago, but I found it cumbersome in caparison to the Garmin. We still employ a map or atlas along with the Garmin because it's not uncommon to find its routing less than optimal. Still, Garmin is the first brand I look for when I'm considering an upgrade.
