Need Opinions for getting internet provider / hotspot

I was paying way too much for a Verizon hotspot that I rarely used.

Now, I get the same 4G Verizon service with a Straight Talk hotspot for $15 a month and only pay when I want to use it for a few days. I can't find anything cheaper that simply works every time I use it.
