I had an online motorcycle parts business that I started in 2001 and sold in 2008. A customer deserves the following online:
1. Immediate confirmation of the sale by email stating the order, along with if any items are back ordered, giving the customer the opportunity to adjust the order. This should include an estimated shipping date.
2. A second email stating the order has shipped. This should include a tracking number for the customer to track.
3. A final email from the seller asking the buyer of the satisfaction level of the order, sale, and tracking.
It is not rocket science. I would hate to see their operation, I envision many people bumping into each other and stressed out to no end.
Sorry for your trouble with CW and GSE. And you are 100% right about what is needed ordering online and it isnt rocket science.
