New Blog/photo camping site

I use Blogger too and find it very easy to make posts. If you download Live Writer - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8621 - you can write your post off line and upload them at a later time. It also makes it easier to add photos exactly where you want them,

Blogger (also called Blogspot) is simple to set up, easy to add photos to, has a decent editor, and is free. you can post immediately or set an advanced date for your post to appear. There are also free mobile apps that will let you write and post to your Blogger site if not at a computer.

Store your photos on a free photo site as photo storage is limited but it will take you two years of posts before you come to that limit. Blogger is set up to take the url of a photo location and display it in your article - and you can put as many as you want.

I went with WP and it's a pain to set up. Try one of the free ones. The amount of time for a daily blog post in our nursery business was way too much. If you plan to use it after your trips you will probably be more inclined to keep at it at least for a season. It's a nice way to share with family and friends, if they want to read it they can if not they won't be offending you. It's less personal than emails but you can use a lot more content in your blog pages.
