WOI in Des Moines, IA broadcasts on RF channel 5. There are only 39 full power stations in the U.S. broadcasting on the low VHF band (ch 2-6) and 426 on the high VHF band (ch 7-13). The total number of stations in the U.S. is about 1800. Here's a link to a spreadsheet listing all the full power stations in the U.S. as of July 2012:
