Sorry Apple fans, iPhone is not the best. Neither is Android, or any other phone OS. The best is the one that works for you and does the job without issues.
Android has worked perfectly fine for me on both my phone and tablet. My very non-technical wife had no trouble figuring out how to use her Samsung Galaxy S5. My issue with Apple is that they are closed devices. When looking at phones, ask them how much Apple charges to replace the battery when it's out of warranty. Oh, yes, and you have to send it to Apple to have it done, even during the warranty period.
Seriously though, they are all good. Both are easy to use. Just depends on who you want to tie into and stick with.
Do you have a tablet? If it's an iPad, get an iPhone. If your tablet is an Android, get an Android tablet. In other words if you are already tied to an operating system stick with it. They are made to easily sync together.
