I recently received one as a retirement gift and we've taken it on a 5 week trip. It's competent enough and I'm guessing it's Garmin based but a couple things I did notice: No, I haven't timed it but the battery did seem to drain pretty quickly and now we automatically just keep it plugged in all the time when driving. And I've owned a couple Garmins in the past and this touchscreen requires some pressure to get the buttons to function. I find that quite annoying. It doesn't come with a case so I just bought one yesterday from Camping World.
