New RV New Installation

How hard can it be to connect a Dish system to a '19 Forza that is "Satellite TV ready"? Going to install a Winegard Travler on the roof and hoping for reception on the main and bedroom TVs with 2 each 211 receivers.

Thanks

Doug
  • Don, I've had Dish since 2000. On my Fleetwood Storm, I had a Winegard In Motion installed and it worked like a champ. If ever I did find myself isolated from the satellites because of trees, I also carried two tailgaters. (Yes, we do like our television!) And keep in mind that Ore-gun has many more trees than we have here in Southern California! I'm hoping that the roof mounted Winegard 1000 will work just fine.
  • TechWriter, Yes, I did speak to someone at Winnebago and they indicated it would be a piece of cake. Technician at the dealership indicates he has to run all of the cables because, based on experience, there is nothing there.
  • Travlers, besides being really expensive are only good IF you have a clear view of the southern sky. In over 10 years I personally found the Travler good maybe a handful of times. Of I had realized that I would never have spend the money. I used my grund based dish probsbly 99% of the time. If your going with Dish network your much betyer off buying one of the portable automatic domes. At least with those you can set it out where you have a clear view.
