New Satellite Internet setup

I see a new, easy, albeit very pricey satellite Internet system has been released-
http://www.mobilsat.com/Mobile-satellite-internet/MST/RVDataSat840/

No plans, no contracts, turn on the dish and it will provision itself- you just have to enter account details, etc.

Very expensive, but for someone who makes their living via the web, could be a lifesaver as a backup.

    I read that differently.

A total of 1000GB to be used over a period of one year.

So, on average 83.3GB per month.

neat idea... Internet only I presume... You know folks will also want SAT TV haha...

My VERIZON MIFI 3GB plan only cost $27 a month but then in/out data speed is only around 56K or less... too slow to do any downstreaming which works fine but starts and stops every few minutes to get more data.... Its really only good for just checking emails-keeping in touch with the kids-paying a few bills online.

The fact that all comes with everything you need to work might not be all that bad

I guess I was reading the $1000 for one year service right... Thats only $86 a month for a 100GB data plan ?? Maybe it means $1000 a month and you have to sign up for a year???

You have to buy all of the equipment up-front???
