RV stereos seem to be no-name import junk. I like Sonix Electronics for their prices. I don't have a radio/DVD to suggest but here is a good install video. You will probably need a bypass kit to trick a car DVD unit into thinking the vehicle is in park to get the DVD player to work all the time.

Do you really need AM/FM? A portable Bluetooth speaker paired to a smartphone or other portable digitial media player may be more useful. I looked at replacing my TT's radio for a number of reasons. I really like the Pinoneer 2700, but it would have still utilized the poor sounding speakers. I ended tryingthe Sharkk speaker about a year ago. It has been great. Sounds better than my TT speakers. I have listen at the campfire, at the beach, all around the yard at home. My wife uses it almost daily from kitchen to bathroom. I wish I'd spent a little extra on something like the Roar now.

That's large..not automotive size, automotive uses std sizes ,single DIN ( approx 6 & 5/8" by 2") or double DIN, same width, but double is twice as high

I replaced our dash stereo with a Sony AM FM CD MP3 $79

We don't even use our stereo in our motorhome. Kind of replaced it with a Sony Speaker I downloaded all my cd's into iTunes, so no need for a cd player. All my music is on the iPhone and iPad.

RV stereos not mounted in the dash are not auto standard DIN sizes. The OP will have to make a filler panel if he went with a car stereo.

Got a good one from Best Buy a couple of years ago. USB input for the iPod and stereo input for the Sirius receiver. Was less than 100 bucks as I recall.

I think what you may be looking for according to your dimensions may be here. These are common RV systems.

It should be a direct replacement.

RV Receivers

Concertone says to replace my current model with this one: http://www.concertone.com/zx800.htmlhttp://www.concertone.com/zx800.html but I'm not paying $700 for a radio. The least expensive one I can find of this model is on ebay for around $300. Is this radio really worth $300?

The Jensen is a direct size replacement for Concertone and better quality. I have one with AM/FM/CD/DVD/USB input/HDMI....works great. When replaceing a Concertone they have a wiring adaptor that eliminates the need to cut and splice anything
