New TV

We changed out our front TV for a larger Smart TV. Everything hooked up the same as our old one except the surround sound keeps turning on by itself. We used to have to turn on the SS when we wanted it and just left it off most of the time. Now I can turn it off and as soon as I touch a button on the Dish remote the SS comes back on. Any ideas?

    If you email the television manufacture, they'll email back with step by step instructions. TCL and LG are great at that.

    Seems to be a pretty "smart" tv then?? I think you just gotta go thru the settings and find the right setting to uncheck...

    Without knowing what make or model you have, that's all I got.. But, I wish I had surround sound in my RV! :)
