How true. Back when I was in the Navy if the ship was set to sail at 8:00 if you were not on it you just missed ships movement because the ship was gone. I had always been early to everything because I never wanted to be late and be noticed walking in. Even in my previous job if you were late you were probably going to be sent home. Even if you were only a few minutes late. I think my time is as valuable as there time. JMO
and another , How true.....in the military, ONE MINUTE late could cost you BIG TIME...and if you had to be in an LZ by a certain time....if you weren't there, could have actually been a matter of life and death.
BUT, the military is a whole different animal....Hey Navy, thanks for your service buddy, I was USAF, but my dad served in the Navy:)
