Be careful with FL. Florida is one of the states that has refused federal funding for health insurance. So their plans will differ from other states. Read and research first before you do Florida. I didn't and am now stuck with it.

First, to check health insurance plans on the ACA (aka "Obamacare") exchange, visit www.healthsherpa.com. It's a cool site because you can see what ACA health plans are available in any state.

Or, you can check out off-exchange health plans at finder.healthcare.gov.

Just keep in mind that you can only qualify for subsidies if you sign up for an on- exchange ACA plan.

Finally, ACA health plans are based on state counties. Health plan options and pricing can vary widely between counties.

How long ago was that? South Dakota doesn't have any health plans that have a nationwide network, so for this agent to find one would take a miracle.
