No signal on rooftop dish. Question on setting up portable

What ground antenna do you have? What receiver are you trying to run?
Typically a DVR has two inputs, so you need a dish/LNB with at least two outputs for each receiver if you want all of the functions to work. A single LNB output will work, but you will not be able to watch TV and record at the same time. Depending on receiver type and if you have a B band converter or not you might need to add that between the receiver and dish. Too many options and not enouh answers to go any further.
