Non contact Voltmeter

I'm looking for a volt meter that I can use to check DC voltage without cutting into the wire.
I know that there is one for AC,but,is there one for DC?
Any suggestions?

    I have seen non contact voltage testers that simply determine the presence of voltage, not the actual voltage level. But not one that actually measures voltage.
    But I think even the testers only detect AC.

    Em.... Can't say I've every seen either, that is a no-contact DC or AC voltmeter. I have seen some e-field meters but trying to relate those to voltage in the wire would be, well, difficult.
    Are you certain you haven't seen an AC induction Amp-meter and getting them confused? Those are fairly common.
