Non-subscription DVR?
I would like to get a nice small DVR for the Mother Ship but all I see are those requiring a subscription. I have NO interest in paying by the month - rather I want to own my own. Suggestions? ...

The Homeworx PVR.. Records to a USB hard drive or memory stick.
It records in high def MPEG transport stream.. it does not record DVDs
