Norton or Mcafee what is better? Up date

I've used Norton for years, no issue other than their irritating ads for Life Lock.

Have used Norton for years, doesn't slow anything down. If you have more than one computer you want it on, I think you can get a discounts on buying it in groups of three or five. Check out the Amazon pricing and download it with a key they send you after buying it.

If you do have a very old computer and it slows you down, I believe you can set it to do the daily scan sometime during the night, but you'll have to check that. I don't generally turn my computer off.

Normally I use Norton for anti-virus and firewall, Malwarebytes for anti-malware.

If you want "free" then look at Avast. I've used that for about 10 years now with no problems.

Of the two I think McAfeee a tad less annoying than Norton

I use neither but have used both in the past. Both have been shown to slow down my computer and hog the memory.

They both suck equally.
