The HR receivers are DVR's but could be set to use only 1 tuner when you are trying to do your 2 RV setup with a portable automatic antenna as we have been discussing.
If you don't mind about 30 minutes work setting up an antenna, get a SWM antenna mounted on a large tripod and learn to set it up. You would then run one coax to each RV and have full use of the DVR functions and get full HD as well.
If you go with the portable automatic your receivers will work just fine as they can be set to SWM or Multi-switch (none SWM).
