I've had Lowes, Home Depot and others match internet prices but WITH shipping included. After all, IF you bought it ON LINE you'd have to pay shipping..on many items, shipping is an integral part of of the price...In this instance I would have to side with Camping World in their thinking. Whether the dollar amount is sufficient to warrant an unhappy customer is another story.
Personally, like your wife I like to do the touchy feely thing too, but I'm willing to pay for the privilege of doing so....JMO...Dennis
