OnStar requires update due to 3G end of life
I was wondering if anybody has had the update to their TV to handle 4G? My Silverado required a hardware change from 2G to 3G but apparently the change to 4G is "over the air". Haven't driven the truc...

I think Verizon is December. I had one 3g device and they notified me that it would have to be replaced by sometime in December so I assume it is for all uses of 3g. Not sure if all 3g OnStar like systems can be upgraded. A friend said his car that was less than 2 years old wasn't upgradable. But then maybe he just wanted an excuse to trade up without the wife discussion :-)
