  • They do block IP’s
Funny thing is you must be able to access the forum to see the help instructions!

    See below:

Today we had an increase in Spammers getting through the Forum's registration. Normally I am able to stop and remove these registration attempts before they can 'activate' their accounts. Thank you to those who emailed us via the 'Spammer App'.

So I made some changes to the number of IP addresses I block at the Server level preventing access to the Forum's Domain (http://www.openrangeowners.com). My effort is to Block as many NON-USA and CANADIAN IP addresses as I can identify since this Forum is centered around a Brand that pretty much only sold in the USA and Canada.

As I block these large groups of IP Addresses (trillions) I have on occasion 'accidentally' block some of our Members' IPs. If you find you are being block PLEASE understand that I did NOT block you on purpose and I will remove the block once I identify your IP address.

How do you know if your IP address is being Blocked?
When you attempt to go to the Open Range Owners Forum and you receive this message screen it indicates your IP address is being blocked.

What to do: From the device (Computer/Laptop/iPad/Smart phone) and Internet connection (Home, Work, Campground) that you received the Forbidden Error Message go to Google and in the search box type in 'My IP Address', right below the Search Box you will see your current IP address displayed. Copy and Paste that IP address into an email and send it to me - ForumHost@openrangeowners.com. Below is an example of me searching for my IP Address in Google.

I apologize in advance if the changes I made today has blocked your access to the Forum.

Order of our products from entry level are as follows:
Light, Mesa Ridge/Roamer, Journeyer, Open Range, Residential, 3X.
We are able to save weight in the lights the following ways: the main floor is laminated rather than a decked floor that is in the other product lines, the overall height is 6" shorter, pressed membrane countertops rather than solid surface corian, and roof truss our galvanized steel in lights and the other product lines are wood truss. Furthermore, I understand it is difficult to determine luxury, mid profile, etc... Part of that is because construction wise there are many similarities between our product lines. We do this because we want all pit products associated with luxury. However, other than the differences already mentioned the price differences occur due to amenities being standard in one product and may it may not be optional in the lower prices products. The only difference in construction of the open Range line and Roamer/Mesa ridge & journeyer is the exterior fiberglass on the open range is thicker other than that construction is the same the separation then happens in the amenities.
I hope that all makes sense and gives you a better understanding. Thanks.

    Thanks :) this helps.
