Yes, you can hook up a garden hose but that won't boost the pressure.
If boondocking, most don't want to waste that much water on cleaning.
If on a site with water, just disconnect the trailer and hook up a spray attachment.
Other than in desert areas, never had anyone question washing the trailer.
