Let me clarify. You can use both receivers on either the EA or WA (WA only in OR) but the 2nd receiver will be limited to viewing programming from the same satellite selected by receiver #1.
You are correct that the 72.7 is not available in the NW and likely even N. CA but you should still have full use of one receiver and limited use of the second (not many limitations, but some).
In the rest of the Country you will be able to select the 2 receiver option and both receivers will be able to watch any channel at any time other than the major Networks.
