Pathway X2 second receiver problem

Moved up to the Pathway X2 mainly to get satelite TV in bedroom as our previous Tailgater only has one coax connection.

The X2 came with the 211Z receiver which we have on our main TV and moved the 211K we had for the TGater to the bedroom.

With that we cannot get the bedroom receiver to acquire a signal. We do have the screen setup but it will not acquire. Both TV's are using HDMI cables.

We have 2 coax in connections on the outside as pictured and A/B switch inside.

When we are hooked up to a CG's cable both TV's work fine.

Any suggestions/ideas?

There is a problem I have posted about many times.. The X-2 is a "DOME" type antenna,, Domes can see one, and only one satellite at a time.

SO if your MAIN receiver is looking at sat 110 and you want a show that is on 119, in the bedroom.. NO JOY .. YOu need dual domes to do that. Sorry, no way around it.

Also, you will need a feed to the "Bedroom Sat" connector as well.
  • It sounds like you are saying you are not getting any picture at all on one TV. Is that correct or are you able to see the setup menu from each receiver on both TV's?
  • After hooking up the receivers to the X/2 did you run the "Check Switch" routine on the second receiver as called for in the user manual on page 4?
