Yup, I will give you another source of that message one that is a bit more expensive.
Many computer batteries are made up of multiple cells, sometimes in series sometiems in series/parrell.. Each cell is independently monitored as to state of charge by the battery's computer (Yes the battery has a computer all its own) and if one cell is.. Shall we say a bit lower than the others.. It will not allow charging.. new battery time less you can figure out how to equlize (have not done that yet).
