Generator Charge Time?

I understand Truecharge 2 runs the fan continuous. Some like the white noise... would drive me crazy.

My new Honda 3000 won't accept the 30 AMP plug from my TC.
I have to use a 110 adapter to get it to work with a regular extension cord.

I made one for my Honda 3000 from an existing twist lock I already had but you can buy a twist lock adapter online for the Honda 3K..

We're just looking at options here, at the moment -- but was looking at the 2200i, and see it has two outlets, one regular 110 plug, and looks like a 30amp on the other one. Looks like one Honda is stand alone, with two 110 plugs, and the other is for the dual run, with the 30a outlet.

The 30a outlet one looks identical, but for the outlets - but shows about $100 more ... seems high just to add a larger plug ???

Seems to me if I bought the one with the 30a female outlet, I could just plug my 30a power cord directly in it, just as if the generator is the power pedastal??

That would save a lot of hassle -

And, I know, I do get it with solar - and may go that route eventually. But for now, the generator will serve us on the road, and when we are home and lose power ... storms seem to knock it out.

I won't be able to help with the charge times but can tell you that my Honda 2000 will run around 40 hours on 5 gal. of gas. The darn thing is so quiet that many times I will start it for morning coffee and forget it is running. DW will ask me to start it so she can use the microwave at lunch and when I walk over to start it the darn thing is still running.

Without knowing what make and model of converter, it is not possible to know what charging rate!
