Been using a Pentax for a few years now. Ricoh is now the label. It is waterproof, dust proof and fairly indestructable. I dropped it at fire scenes and then walked on it, no damage or problems. Good zoom and will focus down to pretty much touching the lense. The LEDs around the lens give good light for macro and the flash will flash multiple times if the scene is very dark.
The only down side is the battery size/life. I keep 4 batteries just in case.
